prescriptions using YOUR DOCTOR and YOUR
PHARMACY.

To participate, you , your doctor and your pharmacy (or an affiliated Drugs
& Docs pharmacy ) must be a member of the Iasis
Safeguard health system.
This
carefully designed system is used to avoid fraud and misuse of this service.

The annual cost of membership in the Iasis Safeguard
health system is C$25.
There is
no
cost for your doctor or pharmacy to participate.

MEDICATIONS
The following Iasis
services are available once you are a member of either
Iasis Safeguard or Iasis Safeguard Plus -
the online healthcare verification system. The annual membership is
C$25
:
- Prescription renewals on-line
- Prescription requests for special topical pain cream*
- VIP Docs referral services to U.S.
physician specialists*
- VIP Docs referral services to U.S. MRI, CT
and other imaging services*
- VIP Docs referral services to Canadian and US PET scans*
- Other future services and special offers
*Iasis Safeguard Plus is required at no
additional cost and includes additional medical history, as you are not
seeing your family doctor.

Each on-line prescription request for up to 3 medications is
C$15.
Half of this fee goes to the Iasis Corporation
and half goes to your doctor. If your doctor decides that you need an
appointment first for all the requested medications - you will receive a refund of
C$10.
This is a convenient and cost-effective solution for busy people.
